Chache Pope
is a multifaceted community leader whose work spans consulting, authorship, youth counseling, and mental health advocacy. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Chache is a proud father of two and grandfather of seven, bringing both personal experience and deep compassion to his mission of empowering young people and transforming communities.
As a Consultant, Chache provides strategic guidance to organizations working with at-risk populations, helping them develop effective programs and interventions that address the root causes of youth challenges. His expertise in community engagement and youth development enables organizations to create sustainable, culturally responsive solutions.
As an Author, Chache uses the written word to share stories, insights, and lessons that resonate with young people facing adversity. His writing serves as both a mirror and a window—reflecting the experiences of those often unheard while opening pathways to hope and transformation.
As an At-Risk Youth Peer Counselor, Chache connects with young people on a deeply personal level, using his own life experiences to build trust and provide guidance. He understands the challenges these youth face because he meets them where they are, offering non-judgmental support, practical advice, and a listening ear during critical moments in their lives.
As a Mental Health Awareness Advocate, Chache works tirelessly to destigmatize mental health challenges in underserved communities. He educates families, youth, and community members about the importance of mental wellness, advocates for accessible mental health resources, and encourages open conversations about emotional well-being particularly in communities where these topics have historically been taboo.
Throughout his career, Chache has served organizations committed to youth development and community transformation, including Teen Empowerment, Everyday Boston, and The Life After Prison. Passionate about writing, reading, mentoring youth, and bowling, he brings creativity, relatability, and genuine care to every aspect of his work.
Chache draws profound inspiration from his late mother, Paula Pope, who dedicated her career to serving others at Harvard Legal Services. Her legacy of compassion and service continues to fuel his commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people and families throughout Boston. Through his approach to community work, Mr. Pope continues to create pathways for healing, growth, and opportunity in the communities that need it most.
